Hi Reader, 👋
October is officially here, and things are moving at full speed! Between cargo ships reaching ports, fulfillment ramping up in Asia, and final preparations for the biggest gaming event of the year, we are working around the clock.
Grab a hot coffee, and let’s jump straight into this month’s updates! ☕
🌏 Wildscape Preorder & Fulfillment
ASIA
The preorder period for Asia has officially closed. Wildscape stock is currently at the China warehouse and copies are now immediately available to buy from our webshop (Asia only). Distribution of preorders across Asia and Oceania is underway.
- China: Local deliveries began in late September and are ongoing as orders come in.
-
Estimated Hub Deliveries. Shipments to the following countries are underway—these are the estimated arrival dates to their distribution hubs (local delivery times from each hub may vary):
- 🇯🇵 Japan & 🇲🇾 Malaysia Hubs: October 25, 2026
- 🇿🇦 South Africa Hub: November 15, 2026
- 🇮🇱 Israel Hub: November 20, 2026
- Other Asia Regions: All other destinations are currently in consolidation. We truly appreciate your patience while shipments are prepped for their respective hubs!
You can track real-time status updates for your country anytime on the VFI Hub Status Page (look under “Wildscape”).
🇪🇺 EUROPE
Freight shipment to Europe took a little longer than we expected as a typhoon in Asia delayed the cargo by about 2 weeks. But, it will finally arrive at the warehouse next week on October 13! Because of this, the preorder period for Europe will be ending very soon.
Due to high demand, we have reserved German and English copies for sale at Essen Spiel, and preorders for these will end when the remaining preorder stock runs out—we don’t expect it to last long. Preorders for French copies will last a bit longer, but will end as soon as stock has been processed by the warehouse and ready to ship to customers.
If you won’t be attending Essen this year (or you don’t want to miss out on the special preorder discounted price), go to the Wildscape Preorder page to secure your copy.
We anticipate preorder deliveries will begin by the end of October (though please bear with us, as fulfillment centers are extremely busy around Essen Spiel!).
🇺🇸 US and 🇬🇧 UK
We were able to send a small portion of games to the UK at the beginning of September, and some of those who preordered early have already received their copies. For the rest of the UK, your games will be arriving soon.
Cargo vessels are on the way, estimated to arrive at the US port on October 21 and UK port on October 22. Depending on customs clearance speeds in the US and UK, we hope to start fulfilling those preorders in early November.
You can stay up-to-date on the US arrival here.
📖 Wildscape Rules Clarifications & FAQ
We’ve received a few gameplay questions from early plays, and we apologize that a couple of details could have been clearer in the printed rulebook! We will be updating our digital rulebooks shortly, but in the meantime you can reference our Wildscape FAQ page.
Here are three key clarifications to keep in mind for your games:
- 🌱 Sprout Icons: A sprout icon applies only to the specific habitat type it is directly printed on. It does not apply to any other habitat shown on that same tile.
- 🐵 Primate & Predator Cards: These cards must be played from your hand. They cannot be played directly from the common tableau.
- 🎯 Solo Mode (Poachers): The Poachers spend energy directly from their space on the rondel. At the end of their turn, that energy should be distributed around the rondel as normal.
If any other questions come up for you, please let us know on the Wildscape BGG forum, and we’ll be right along to answer.

Thank you Reader so much for your incredible support as Wildscape travels the globe. If you haven’t secured your copy of Wildscape yet, preorders are still open while initial stock lasts. With the demand we’ve seen so far, we fully expect all of our German copies to sell out during Essen Spiel!
Also, if you want to pick up Peninsula, Millennia, or Thiefdom, prices on our webshop are lower than ever!
See many of you in Essen!
