What an incredible month it has been! July flew by in a blur of playtesting, amazing conversations at Berlin Con, and huge milestones behind the scenes at Karma Games.

We have some massive news about Wildscape and an open position on our team. Let’s dive into this month’s updates! ☕

🇩🇪 Berlin Con Recap: Dankeschön! 🥳

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by Hall 2, Booth 5-22 at Berlin Con! Meeting you in person, demoing Wildscape, and chatting about games is always the absolute highlight of our year. If you couldn’t make, you can catch the whole weekend in super-speed on our instagram reel!​

To our surprise, Thiefdom turned out to be our runaway bestseller of the weekend, out-selling even Clans of Caledonia 2 to 1! 🏰🗡️

🚢 The Pre-order for Wildscape is Coming Soon! 🌿

We have reached a huge milestone for Wildscape—factory production is officially finished! 🎉 We’ve sent a few copies to reviewers, and the early feedback has been amazing! The full review content won’t be available for a few weeks, but Rahdo had things to say about it on his mid-year review:

• “There is no way this doesn’t make my top 10 of the year!”
• “This is phenomenal. This is maybe the BEST mancala driven euro game I have EVER played.”
• “This was by far…the one that we were like, ‘we’re gonna set this up and play this again. Don’t even take it down. Leave it on the kitchen table!’”

After years of working on something and finally bringing it into something tangible that people can play, it’s hard to put into words how a response like this hits. Pride…relief…an optimistic hope that others will find as much enjoyment in this thing we made. We’re full of thanks.

So, here’s what’s next on the horizon:

• Ocean Freight: Ships will be setting sail very soon to bring Wildscape to fulfillment centers around the globe.
• Release Target: We are expecting Wildscape to land and be available in October (though some regions in Asia might receive it even earlier!).
• Pre-orders Open: mark you calendar for 🗓️ August 11 at 3pm (CEST)/9am (EDT)! 🗓️

This will not be a Kickstarter/Gamefound campaign. Karma Games is bypassing crowdfunding to bring you a straightforward pre-order from our own webshop.

Zero funding risk: Manufacturing is already complete! Ocean freight to a fulfillment center near you is underway.

No massive delays: Game design/testing, art design, factory production, booking shipping—it’s all behind us. Games will be in fulfillment centers before the end of October.

No complicated process: Pay once now, and you won’t be charged any more later. No second check-ins needed at all. The games ship to you when they hit fulfillment.

Why pre-order now:

• Avoid Sell-Outs: The small first print run will clear out fast; second runs take significant time.
• Exclusive Discount: Pre-orders officially launch with an exclusive 35% off MSRP discount. Once copies arrive at our local warehouses, the price will return to normal, so don’t miss out on the early bird deal.

Karma Games is growing, and we need your creative talents! We are actively looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to help bring our next game Bloomworks to life—working with illustrator The Mico (Mihajlo Dimitrievski) from current prototype all the way to final production.

The Role: We are open to both freelance project-based work or hiring someone in-house.
