We have ships to carry all the games!
We really wanted everything to hit their home shores before October, and I regret not being able to bring the UK and Australia shipments in under that timeline. But we’re counting on Clan MacDonald to row as fast as they can now to get those ships safely to port. ⚓ Once at a port of destination, customs procedures will usually take a few days, then containers are trucked off to the fulfillment center and distributed from there. All-in-all, backers should start seeing their pledges about 3-4 weeks after landfall. 🏠📦
🤝 Join Our Volunteer “Replacement Part Helpers” NetworkClans of Caledonia has been out-of-print for a while now, so we haven’t had any stock to supply replacement parts where needed. But, with the base game reprint complete, we’ll be back in business soon. Whether you’ve got an older base game or new ones coming from our latest campaign – like Clans of Caledonia: Industria (expansion), Thiefdom, Millennia: Tracks of Time, and Peninsula – we’re setting up a dedicated replacement parts request form on our support page that will make handling those issues trouble free. It will be going up close to September, and we’ll let you know in a later newsletter when it’s live. For now, this is a call for community members who would be willing to be part of a worldwide network of friendly volunteers who can help local gamers get what they need faster. 🌏 We’ll supply the spare parts, make sure you have packing materials (which should mostly amount to small padded envelopes), and postage. For your help, there will be discounts for games (current or future ones) more or less depending on how busy your region gets. The online app replaces the physical automa deck only – a physical copy of Clans of Caledonia is still needed to play. We’ll let the app creator tell you more in his BoardGameGeek post. But, I will say that the app has a feature for playing vs. multiple automas at the same time. We haven’t tested how that works out in gameplay, but you get the chance to try it out and leave your feedback.
