Green Deal used to teach sustainable management

Recently, I received news that excited me a lot as it was quite a surprise! Prof. Dr. Althaus teaches Corporate Social Responsibility at the university FH Wildau to master students. He bought a couple of copies of our new sustainability board game Green Deal and set up a curriculum to use it to teach sustainable management in class in the winter semester of 2014 already!

I attended the first session with his students. The students were asked to prepare by reading the rules prior the class. I helped here and there to answer questions about the rules. The students will play Green Deal three times throughout the semester and will have to write a graded paper reflecting the game experience and the link to reality. Winners of the Green Deal sessions even get a bonus on their final grade 😉

Hopefully more universities will implement Green Deal to teach Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainable management to their students. They can order the game here: https://karma-games.com/product/greendeal/
